The Security Permissions section allows you to set granular security permissions for current users and roles. You can also view a summary of security permissions and how they were granted for each user and role. This page is the most granular when viewing or setting security permissions manually on a user or role at a specified group level. If you are using roles for your users and have already created these roles you should never have to come to this area of your website. The wizards can walk you through applying those roles to users. The following section walks you through each of these processes.
NOTE: You cannot add users or roles from this page.
To navigate to the Security Permissions page, hover with your mouse over Related Pages in the top right corner of your page, under Admin Pages hover over Admin Tools and select Security Permissions.
NOTE: You will also be navigated to the Security Permissions page when selecting Grant Permissions Direct to User and choosing Select Permissions to Grant from the Add/Edit User or Roles wizards. You'll then be navigated to the Security Permissions page where you can grant granular security permissions to the user or role created in the Wizard. See Add/Edit User or Add/Edit Role wizards.

NOTE: If you have created a user or role through a wizard the group selected in the wizard will already be chosen in the Security Permissions page.

To set User or Role Security Permissions for a specific group:
- In the left panel of the page, select the group you are wanting to grant access. Use the plus signs to expand different groups.
NOTE: You must grant permissions for different groups one at a time in the Security Permissions page. If setting permissions for a role for multiple groups any user granted membership to that role will have access to all groups selected.
- In the top right corner of this page, click Select Users and Roles
- From the pop-up menu, check the boxes of the user(s) or role(s) you want to grant access to the group selected.
- Click OK. In the Role and User Area, the selected user/role will be highlighted and ready to set security permissions.
- In the bottom right section of the page, check the boxes of the permissions you want to grant to the highlighted user or role.
- Click Update.
NOTE: You can Select All or Clear all to select all boxes or clear all boxes already checked. You can also click the column header above an entire column you want to check all boxes for. Both options are depicted below:

NOTE: To clear permissions for a user/role for a specified group you must clear all permissions for when viewing that user/role and click Update. They will no longer be listed when viewing that group of devices.
