Set Points allow you to add alarm thresholds to data values by a Value Comparison, Variance Amount, or Variance Percentage. You can designate recipients to be notified via email, text, and/or phone call when a Set Point condition is met. The Set Points can also be utilized for alarm indictators on your Summary Listing and/or Group Hierarchy.
Navigate to the Device Details page of the device and click on the Tag name that you want to create the alarm set point for.
From the Tag Details page, click on the Set Points tab, then click Add Set Point from the toolbar.
From the Properties tab, enter a Set Point Name choose your threshold, then click Save.
The example below shows a name of High Casing Pressure and a threshold to alarm when the value is greater than 250 PSIG.

This step will assign the selected recipients to be notified on the set point. (You can choose multiple notification types – Text, Voice, and Email). Click Save.
